Bound To Fall by A. K. Caggiano

As I descend further down this A. K. Caggiano rabbit hole, I become more convinced that she just loves writing these books and probably loves us as readers as well; otherwise how is this so fun? So enjoyable? So motherfucking whimsical? It's an easy read without being trivial, fast without lacking detail and corny (sp) without interrupting the sweetness that permeates the overall story and characters. That this sweetness exists within the presence of a character who is also quite powerful, potentially deadly and experienced (in the biblical sense), is also just so refreshing and delicious. What a lovely treat this book is.
